Using games on a second xbox

Hi

I'm converting a basement at some point and want to turn a section of it into a game room. I'm on the edge whether to buy a real basic pc or laptop and stream from my xbox one to it, as the xbox is in the living room. Or buy a second hand xbox one to have
downstairs (more likely)

However, I have 2 games which were bought online (ebay) by my wife which needed me to log in using their login etc.

Is this now not going to work on the second xbox if bought? Not a problem if not, as they'll be something like £15 second hand to buy the disk anyway.

Does anyone know how 2 people can be signed in to games, especially LIPS, so we can play against each other?

You need two controllers for this! Login as yourself and launch the game using the first controller. Then using the second controller, press the 'xbox guide button', go to the home page, log the second person on, they should then appear in the game!

Trouble with game play on main account profile

On our xbox one we have a main account profile and a second profile for when we play 2 player games. We own Risk and have played many times using the main profile. Now when we try to use the main profile the game freezes on the "connecting to Ubisoft" screen.
It lets us play using the second profile though. We would like to play using the main profile again since we have gotten farther on that one. Any ideas what's wrong or how to fix this?

You can add same profiles onto 2nd xbox also if you buy the games digitally you can play them on both consoles at the same time you can also share Xbox live

that's why changing to Home console is limited to 5 times/year. That you don't switch between the consoles...

You can share the subscription you have purchased with your account with all the accounts on a console if you set it as your Home Xbox, but you can only have one Home Xbox at the same time.

This means that if you buy another Xbox console, you can share the subscription with the accounts on that console if you set it as your Home Xbox with your account. However, your Xbox Series S console will lose this benefit, and only you will be able to use the subscription when you sign in with your account on that console.

In this case, it's advisable to set as your Home Xbox the console used by more people so that they have access to the subscription. If the other console will only be used by one person (and it won't be you), it would be advisable to purchase their own subscription, as you cannot share yours on both consoles simultaneously.

I know people who have had on and off success with it. One area to look into is license transfers as the DRM could possibly be an issue.

What console is the DLC on? If the DLC is on the same console, you should be able to play it. If you can't, contact Microsoft Support.
