    Using EA Gamepass Ultimate with 2 Separate Accounts on Same Xbox


    I have EA Gamepass Ultimate on my xbox account and made the xbox my “home” xbox.

    I downloaded Battlefield V.

    I can play online multiplayer with no issues.

    I sign out.

    My son logs in under his (different than mine) xbox account and when trying to play Battlefield V online multiplayer, he is presented with a “purchase game” option. He cannot bypass this message nor can he play multiplayer.

    Why cant he play the game online on my “home” xbox?

    EA play not working on PC

    purchasing ea play on pc is through ea app or via steam, if you have ultimate gamepass on xbox then you get access to ea play on the ea app on pc if the accounts are linked.

    if you only have ea play on xbox then you need a separate sub for ea play with the ea app or steam.

    Upgrading Xbox live to include Game pass

    By "xbox live" do you mean xbox gold? If you are adding gamepass separately to gold then you might as well just upgrade to the gamepass ultimate. All the current months will convert to gamepass ultimate. Buying them separately will only be a hassle rather than buying them in one package in ultimate. That's also the only way to keep the auto renew date the same is if you upgrade to the ultimate gamepass.

    Hello, EA it's charged separately. The ultimate Gamepass includes Xbox live. It happened to me before. I paid my EA for a whole year its iore affordable that way. Hope this helped. Happy gaming!
