    Using cross save


    With the upcoming release of Borderlands: The handsome collection, was wondering how to use the "cross save" feature on the xbox one to recapture all of the work i did on the 360 with borderlands. Would appreciate some info.

    Cross Transfer Saves

    Hi

    Ive heard that many games have cross system saves for games. eg: xb360 saves to xbone but I know that to get them I need to sign in using internet and download them but after ive downloaded the saves can I then go offline and play them???

    Using cross save

    If it is anything like the Save Uploads from DoA5 or MC there will be a free Download on the 360 version to connect your Save to a Server. You should be able to then Download your Save to the Xbox One. That is how it works for
    the two Games mentioned.

    So why is there no Resident Evil HD cross-buy upgrade for Xbox when Sony does it?

    ^ Sony do a lot of cross buy, pay once and get it for 2 or all 3 systems. If the game has cross save you can play on PS4 say then carry on where you left off on Vita, if there's no cross save you can get all the Trophies multiple times if that's your thing.
    It's a really good idea, I use cross save all the time.

    Cannot backup save games

    That feature is cross-save and, unfortunately, not all games support it. If the title is tagged as “Play Anywhere” then it supports cross save. There are also non play anywhere titles that support cross save (Ori for example).

    Safest bet is if its not tagged as “Play Anywhere” then assume it doesn’t support cross save. Outer Worlds on PC doesn’t even have cloud save.

    That game does not support cross saves, so you won't be able to use the same save on both platforms.
