    So I've just started getting ready to stream. The only microphone I have is my XBOX One headset. I was just wondering will people in the game hear it or just the stream program. Thanks for any and all help.

    no headset mic streaming since March 2017 Update

    Hi,

    since the march 2017 update applied itself to my xbox one, the headset mic no longer registers when streaming from any of my windows 10 computers.

    * problem started after xbox one update

    * tried restarting xbox one

    * tried total power cycle

    * using official xbox one wireless adaptor

    * using official xbox one controllers

    * streaming works but the no mic icon is always there

    * party chat says no mic detected

    * xbox headset and mic are default on windows and are working

    * windows 10 creators update did not resolve it

    * running latest xbox and xbox beta apps

    * clean install of windows doesn't help

    * tried wireless and wired connections

    * tried with the headset adaptor and with the 3.5 jack directly

    * controller shows no firmware update required

    * tried multiple controllers

    * headset works fine when not streaming (i.e using directly on xbox)

    i'm out of options, is this known to be broken? if any any timescale on a fix?

    I'm having the exact same issue. I have the logitech G930s too. While using the xbox app for just party use you won't be able to hear others and they can't hear you. The headset works correctly with game sounds while streaming to xbox one back to PC but
    still won't work in the parties. The issue is that the headset will just not work at all with any type of xbox party function... While streaming xbox one to PC or while just using the party system in the xbox application for windows 10. (Microphone and earphones
    will not work in party chat as said... while the ability to create, leave, and join the party actually work.)

    Hey Lin, have you had any luck with using your Xbox One headset to interact with your chat while streaming. I’m trying to figure this out myself.

    The Xbox One does not support USB Microphones. You could just use a headset for talking while streaming your games or stream using your PC, and use a USB microphone on there instead.

    Unfortunately you can't use usb mics with the xbox one, you'll have to buy a headset or use an usb mic with a pc while streaming from the xbox.

    How do I set up Audio on the XBox with Mixer?

    Using a headset will definitely solve this issue. I think it's to do with the mic on your webcam possibly not being supported, but using a headset definitely works as I use one :) best of luck with your streaming!
