    Using Account Balance on PC


    Thus far, if I want to purchase anything on Xbox Live using the money I already have on my account, I've had to do it on the console itself rather than on the PC. When I try to change my payment options, it only allows me to either use, add, or remove a
    credit/credit card. Is there anyway to actually use the money I've already have in my account on my PC? Or do I always have to purchase things on my console in order to actually give Microsoft the money I've already given them? Because if there's no way to
    actually use my account to pay for games or DLC from my PC, then I think there's a serious problem with this payment system.

    Sorry but currency is not yet available to use on the website. I'm not really sure if/when the system will be updated to allow it.

    Hello, everyone,

    Will keep this short, I've been trying to buy content on Xbox.com recently but unlike before when you had the option to switch between PayPal and MSP, there's no option now to switch between PayPal and Account Balance. My balance is only accessible through
    my console, which I find somewhat inconvenient.. Is there a way I'm not aware of? Sometimes, I just purchase content on the road and stuff, I'd just like to know how I can do it with my Microsoft Account Balance on Xbox.com.

    The website has not been updated to use the currency system. There's no word on if/when it will be updated. Until it is, you have to use your console to make the purcchase.

    Can't say I'm either surprised or happy about it, but they do whatever it is they do. They should probably update the system, but like you said, no idea when/if they actually will. Well, they probably will at some point, it's just a matter of when that "some
    point" actually is. It would be odd for them to simply leave out a form of payment for their online site.

    Can i redeem a Xbox gift card on my pc's microsoft store app? And if yes will the money i charged be usable on microsoft store (buying for example minecraft)?

    When you redeem the code, it's added to your Microsoft account balance. So you can use it anywhere that uses your Microsoft account balance, including the Microsoft Store on PC.

    Please, temporalily turn off the Ask to buy option and ask your child to attempt the purchase again.

    Sign in to your Family page with an adult Microsoft account.

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/

    Find the child's name and select More options > Spending.

    Under the Ask to Buy section, switch Needs organizer approval to buy things to Off.
