Using a US Xbox One S Console in the UK

I've just ordered an Xbox One S from the USA. It was a special edition in storm grey so couldn't resist it.

I know that the power supply on the XBox One S is 110 -240v so won't have a problem using it here in the UK (unlike the earlier Xbox One that required a new PSU) but was wondering what compatibility issues I may face by using a US Xbox One S?

If I set up my gamertag and account on the UK console will I be able to buy DLC at the Xbox store as per normal or will it recognise that I'm using a US console? Also does anyone know if the Blu-Ray playback is region locked?

i've just ordered a US Xbox One S in Storm Grey from the US.

I won't have any problems with the power supply as the new internal power supply is switchable (110 - 240v) but was wondering if anyone knows if I'll have any problems using the Xbox One S in the UK with a UK profile. Will I be able to buy from the UK store
without problem with it being a US console? It'll also come with a US download code for Battlefield One, anyone know if this will work with a UK profile? Thanks

It's perfectly fine, you can change your consoles location to match the UK's marketplace. If you cannot pre-download Battlefield 1 with the UK market, simply switch to the US.

For your games and DLC there shouldnt be any issues. The Games are Region free. So there shouldnt any compatibility issues with games and all that related stuff.

Blue-Ray´s are Region locked. Have a look into this Article:

That's great, thanks. The console also comes with a Battlefield 1 download code. I have read conflicting articles that some US download codes (when used with a UK xbox account) work and some don't. Does anyone have first hand knowledge? Thanks.
