Using a German Xbox One in the UK

I recently ordered an Xbox One from the German Amazon. I live in the UK, where the plugs and power system is quite different. Will I just be able to plug a standard UK kettle lead into the power brick? Is there anything else I should do?

As others have said either just buy an adapter (A shaver one will work, or buy a german extension lead from same german amazon site and pout a UK plug on that), or cut the 2 pin end off the cord and just add a UK plug.

As an ex UK Army member who worked in Germany for many years, there is no issues with using UK plugs to power German electronics. We often did the reverse. Kept all our UK electrics like TVs etc with UK plugs, but used a UK extension lead fitted with a
German plug

Netflix

Hi

i have a German xbox one and want to get Netflix uk. my language and location are set up as uk. when I instal the app it loads the German version. My loc and language is set up as uk and I currently have DNS set up as uk.

Any ideas?

you use 220v in the uk? if so i think you only need the plug adapter and youre good to go

I obviously wouldn't import it from the US

If I'd get one from UK, I would need the lead change, if I got one from Germany, it would work as it is.. What is drawing me towards UK is easier to handle possibly warranty-things. Typically when you ask a german MS rep if they can speak english, they just
keep writing in german lol.

Your physical region has to be UK too not German or France

Xbox live regions goes by countries not continents and they must be the same

I'm in the UK and with matchmaking I'm never put in lobbies with other UK players. 99% of the time I'm dumped in with French and German players!!!!! When that doesn't happen I'm in an Aussie or US filled lobbies until at the end of a match I'm auto migrated
back to a French or German lobby.
