Using a full function joystick with Xbox

I'm old-school (over 50) user and just don't enjoy (hate) using the current Xbox controllers. I've bought the the adaptive controller to use to map an authorized joystick (have it), but SERIOUSLY!, you can only map a few movements. A waste of my time and
money to buy the adaptive controller which stated it can throughput/map a joystick (only an extreme limited mapping controls). Com'on there's got to be a smart person out there at MS who can develop a Joystick!!!

PS... just checked the rudder function on the Airbus CH joystick and the rudder function reacts the same. With full deflection rudder deflects fully, but then returns to center even though commanded to full deflection.

This is a PC only joystick and will not function with Xbox.

You need to send it to Xbox

If this is not the Xbox version of the joystick, it will not function

The two respective 'joystick' controls are designed to do exactly what you described, on controls directional navigation and the other controls 'free look', so not, it's not likely you can compress all of those functions into one joystick.

Thank you. That's very disappointing, since the individual only has use of one hand and I was told at the Microsoft store that the handheld joystick could be programmed to perform the functions of both.
