    Hi all,

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    I currently have two xbox ones in my house which my son and I have set up to game share.

    When I get my shiny new Series X in a few weeks I was thinking of taking my Xbox One to my parents so my son can play when he stays at their house. Is it possible to use an account on two different xboxs at different times even when game sharing is already
    set up or is this effectively trying to game share with 3 consoles which I know isn't possible?

    I hope I have explained this well and look forward to the replies.

    Thanks for the speedy reply. So if I'm reading it right I could let him use my (main) account when he is on the xbox at my parents as long as I'm not using it at home?

    You are right. It isn't going to be possible if the purchased games or subscription is on your account.

    Who ever has the games or subscription on their account can sign-in to any console and play their games, but if you want to allow another user to share your games or subscription, you will need to make a console your 'home' console. This can only be done
    on one console and can only be changed five times a year.

    The only way to make this work is if the games or subscription were purchased on your sons' account. Then he can play wherever he was and he could make his 'home' console your new Series X. Then you could share his games or subscription.

    That is correct.

    But I wouldn't recommend giving a child access to your account, as they would be able to make changes to privacy setting, purchase items etc.

    So, I need THREE xbox live accounts. One for each. I don't see an option for a family account, so thats $15 x 3 = $45 a month? There has to be a family option.

    Find share Xbox live button and settings menu then share your Xbox live to your Xbox council giving you an any other accounts on that console access to games that you own and movies that you are on is long as it set to your home Xbox.
