Discus and support "user generated content" error: day 3 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; whenever I try to play a game that allows user generated content (e.g. halo 5) a message will appear saying I'm not allowed to view user generated...     "user generated content" error: day 3


    whenever I try to play a game that allows user generated content (e.g. halo 5) a message will appear saying I'm not allowed to view user generated content, and that I can change it by going to Xbox.com. I've been there and checked
    out just about everything that references user generated content to no avail. what do I do?

    update: to anyone who believes it's got something to do with age restrictions, it doesn't. I use an adult account

    Have you checked your Account - Privacy & online safety on your console? A setting in there may be blocking your access, try checking:

    Settings

    Account

    Privacy & online safety

    Xbox Live Privacy

    View details & customize (if this isn't available then select Custom first)

    Game Content

    You can see and upload community creations (set to Everybody, if set to Blocked then this may be why you have issues)

    If this is the first time you have created a Custom setting then I'd advise that you carefully go through each section and ensure that the settings are appropriate for the way that you wish to use your Xbox Live profile.
