"User content not permitted" in Halo: Reach on Xbox One

I am playing Halo: Reach on the Xbox One. I tried loading into a custom lobby on Halo: Reach with a friend and playing a custom map and gametype. My friend could play them but it told me "User content not permitted" so I cannot play the custom game. I
have looked on different forums and such to find a solution and nothing has worked. I have tried editing my privacy and safety settings on the Xbox website, and I have tried editing them on the console itself. I am part of a family plan but I am not a child
account and I have access to my settings. How can I fix this issue?

Hi there,

please try to see if you can edit the allow user generated content option via
http://account.xbox.com/settings

if you can't then a parental account will have to change those settings for you.

Keep in mind that if they are changed you will have to sign out and sign back in again on the console.

How many years your son has?
I ask this because even if you enable all the privacy settings. Some in-game content is not available until your son reach certain age

I've been having the same problem, when i got to server browser in Battlefeild 3 it says; user generated content is disabled, not all servers will be shown. And when i try to play Froge maps -in Halo: Reach- the me and my friends have made it says "User
generated content is not permitted". How do i enable user generated content. (If it helps: in not the parent account, and i have a Xbox Arcade)

Hi,

You stated that you have your privacy settings set to allow you play such things. Did you make sure to look for the option that says "Member Content" and make sure that's enabled? I believe that's something that would stop you from playing custom user created
maps.

Sorry to hear you can't access your custom games, that sounds really weird.

Are you able to play any other games or videos online?
Is it just the custom games in Halo: Reach that you can't access? Can you play campaign and multiplayer?
Have you tried logging into Waypoint and accessing anything from there?
