    User change & no xbox live


    I recently downloaded black ops 2 on the xbox one console. Not too long after that I changed my gamertag and now when I try and play multiplayer on black ops 2 it says 'disconnected from xbox live' and I try to sign in to my account that has my old user
    and it says 'sorry, this profile cant connect to xbox live' help!!!

    Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

    So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

    It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

    Hey Sylevi! Try pressing the menu and view buttons while playing a back compat game to bring up the Xbox 360 emulator menu. On that menu pick "Manage Storage" and then delete your profile. At that emulator menu you should be able to re-download your profile.
    Give that a shot and let me know how it goes!

    Hello. Starting sometime in January 2013 you will be able to change your Xbox LIVE Region directly from the Xbox web site.

    Xbox Support is currently unable to manually change your Xbox LIVE Region in anticipation of this rollover to allow Xbox users to change their own Xbox LIVE Region. You will be able to change your Xbox LIVE Region once every three months once this function
    has been enabled.

    Stay tuned to the various Xbox blogs for when this functionality is implemented.

    A gamertag change is charged if the user has changed it for free once. On Xbox Live, the gamertag is a way to identify the user, almost something that defines the user through it's name on the platform. To avoid difficulties in users changing name every now and then, and to create a circle of friends that know eachother through their gamertags, Microsoft allows the user to change it's own name by charging a fee on the second time (and onward) if they want a new name.
