Useless parental controls

Im 15. I chose wrong date of birth and now i have got parental control even when my family dont fu****ing care about it. I dont have credit card and i cant change this date of birth . I need your help guys because i dont want to waste time of my family.

edit: im doing this on my side acc which i dont want to use in future.

set up my account 2 years ago as an adult account with no parental controls, started playing forza horizon 3 on windows 10 today and some features are locked off due to parental controls? any idea how to fix this as microsoft support is useless

Once a date of birth is put onto an account it can not be changed and IS REQUIRED to be in a family as a child until it reaches its 18th birthday.

This is done because it is against the law for a minor to go into a contract and by agreeing to microsofts terms of use and code of conduct you are going into a contract that is why it is required to have an adult account assigned to a child account so that
the adult account can agree to the terms of use and code of conduct.

Microsoft, could you please upgrade my child account to an adult account. I asked my parents and they said it was ok. I tried changing my age, parental controls, etcetera, but nothing will work. There are too many limitations to the child account. I understand
the "family gaming" concept but come on! I just downloaded my Warface closed beta and it's useless. Please help.

they have there one account for all 3 the parental settings are useless they keep resseting

No offense op, but how can you complain about the controller when you said you snack while playing and you spilled tea on it?

Anyway, that sucks. I hope your next controller lasts longer.

I've never had a problem with either the xbox controllers (the duke) or my 360 ones (going on three years there).

Maybe it would be a good idea to wash your hands before you play?

Also, how do you get a controller wet in the first place?
