useless downloads of .mp4 files while playing microsoft solitare tournaments

I recently did a search on my computer and found that while playing Microsoft Solitare and competing in a "World Tour" competition, for every time a "commercial" was shown for various games like HIDDEN CITY and such, .mp4 files were downloaded onto my computer.
I had hundreds of these files and their associated files. Each .mp4 file taking up over 5 MB of space. This also means that every backup I have done has only made more copies of these files. I could understand if they were downloaded to a temporary file
that would be deleted during normal cleaning, but to have them permanently downloaded and wasting space on my hard drive is UNACCEPTABLE!

So from what i have looked up the only way to stop the adds from showing is to upgrade from free to premium, to maybe get the adds to stop downloading to your PC try contact the official support as they might know of a way to do this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us
