Used Xbox with family password

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with family passcode. Here is a guide on how to

reset the passcode.

You must meet the following criteria to be able to reset your pass code online:

• Your Microsoft account must be an adult account.
• The console must be registered in your name.

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Devices tab.
2. Locate your registered Xbox 360 console and select Show Details.
3. Select Manage, select Reset passcode, and then follow the instructions to reset your pass code.

Also remember that the 360 profile password may not be your account password.

As long as your talking about the Xbox 360 and as long as you are able to download your profile to the console they have actually set it up so you can reset it yourself the steps are in the following link.

Otherwise like M3tal Daz3 said you would have to contact xbox support.

Make sure that you have an adult Microsoft Account, then go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and sign in with your adult Microsoft Account.

Register the console's serial number to your account if not already done so.

After you registered the console, and it shows on the list of devices, click on "More Actions" and then "Reset Passcode" to reset the passcode for that console.
