    Used wrong payment method for purchase


    I was trying to buy the Sonic Adventure DX upgrade DLC for Sonic Adventure, and accidentally used the wrong payment (a card with no money on it) instead of the one I wanted. Is there any way to fix this?

    I don't believe you can use two payment methods for one purchase. I may be wrong.

    No worries, there's nothing wrong with your account. At this time, an account balance cannot be used to make Xbox Video purchases. For those purchases you'll need to use a different payment method (like a credit card).

    The can't autherise the payment method means you entered the payment information wrong, so you don't have enough money in you account to buy whatever your trying to buy. What are you trying to purchase and what payment method are you using?

    Payment method does not factor into Rewards. However, there are no offers that award hardware purchases, so that console purchase using gift cards as the payment method would not have been eligible for Credits even if the purchase had been made using a different
