  1. Used HDMI cable from One on my 360 for the first time, switched back, now TV doesn't ...

Hey people, hope someone can help me with this problem, its peculiar.

So I bought an xbox slim recently and just finished setting it up. I took out the XBONE HDMI cable and used it on my

    360. Works fine...Decided to switch it back to my XBONE, and now my TV is not recognizing the HDMI source. I tried using

a different HDMI cable, still nothing. I used different inputs on the TV, nothing. I unplugged, the brick, turned it back on, still

nothing. What in the world could have possibly happened? It still turns on UPDATE actually the kinect won't turn on but the

console does. Also when plugging the power cable back into the brick you can hear some electric snaps and crackles when

the plug is not fully in the brick but once I fully connect it, it stops. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I appreciate it greatly!

    :)

  2. New Xbox 360 S & HDMI

Okay, so I just replaced my older 360 for my first 360 S. The old 360 came with the HD AV cables that had the switch on the plug so you can set if for an HDTV. When I used this cable with my Samsung HDTV, the TV would automatically detect the input source,
and I was able to switch the input before the Xbox was turned on. Now that I have a 360 S and am finally using an HDMI cable, the TV doesn't detect an additional input source so I am unable to switch sources from "TV". However, if I turn on the Xbox first,
it appears to recognize the input as I am able to switch to the correct input after. So I guess the main question is: is that normal when using an HDMI cable? Do TV's not usually detect the HDMI input until after the source (Xbox) has been turned on?

    HDMI Mode Not Supported

I just bought a Roxio hd capture pro capture card, when I first used it for my xbox one everything worked perfectly. After a few days of not using it, on my tv, my tv reads "hdmi mode not supported."

What i decided to do was take all of the cables i was using upstairs to the tv in my room, and use the cables on my dvr box to my tv...and all of my cables worked perfectly fine. But when I hooked those same cables up even directly to my xbox one, even that
tv kept saying "hdmi mode not supported."

When I hooked up each cable from my xbox one directly to my tv the tv doesn't recognize the hdmi cable at all, I did a factory reset on my console(i pushed the power button for several seconds, console turned off, then i turned it back on by holding the
power and disc eject button at the same time)and even afterwards my console wouldn't display on my televison.

What is going on? What do I do?

Used HDMI cable from One on my 360 for the first time, switched back, now TV doesn't ...

Most common problem I've seen in situations like this is people are plugging it into the wrong HDMI port on the back of the Xbox One. The port on the far left, next to the power plug, is the HDMI Out to TV port. The other is an HDMI in port for your cable
or satellite box. Make sure you're got it plugged in securely to the correct port.

As for the power, always make sure your plugs are inserted completely and securely, and make sure you're always plugging into a wall outlet and never into a power strip or surge protector. After you've made sure all your plugs are in securely and in the
correct ports, go ahead and turn your TV on and see if it works.

Let me know how it goes.
