Used giftcard on wrong account

Hi everybody!

So I messed up big, I used a giftcard of 50 bucks on the wrong account. I put it on my professional account instead of my personal account. Is there a possibility if I contact Microsoft to transfer that money from my pro account to my personal account?

I'll never buy anything with the pro account so I really [Mod Removed - Profanity] the bed big time...

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately there is no way to transfer Microsoft Account balances between accounts, although you can use that one account to gift the desired account the item you intended to purchase originally.

Do you know if they make exceptions? Like for a custommer who has over 12 years of loyalty. I know I'm the one who screwed up but they got the have a way to fix it right?

Damn I was really hoping I could transfer it, but the gift option is a great solution.

Do you know if it works with gameshare (licence share)? So I can enjoy Red Dead Redemption with my brother and put this whole mess behind me.

 

If you gift the game then you're given a code to redeem on the account you want to redeem it on. If you're game sharing with your brother then he would be able to access the game.

Their systems only let them do things within policy.

Once a code for Microsoft Money is redeemed, there's no way for it to be transferred between accounts or turned into another code even at agent level.

You can always contact support as previously posted but to my knowledge they have no ability to get that done no longer how long anyone has been a customer.
