Used for months on ethernet, can no longer connect to wifi

So weird issue going on here, I used my xbox in my room on an ethernet cable for months, I am now playing on it less and other people in my family want to use it. I brought it out into the living room away from the router and am not able to connect to wifi,
tried all the recommendations but my internet works fine on every other device in the home. I eventually chose the option "factory reset console and save data" or something along those lines in the console info settings and it still doesn't work. I am at a
total loss now and moving the router is not really an option as im a full time student now learning online and my pc has no wifi card. I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Edit* since factory reset i can no longer navigate anywhere in my Xbox without setting up an internet connection, wifi has also worked fine for years before using a wired connection

Thanks for the reply, i figured something internal like the wifi card or antenna as you said was broke, no big deal ill likely just pay $20 for a 25ft ethernet and run it from a router.

That seems weird! Unless your network antenna in the Xbox went bad, I'm not sure what's going on!

Can also occur if youre using both wifi AND ethernet connections(IE your pc is connected via ethernet, xbox via wifi.)

Could you try playing on a different connection, for example if you are on WiFi try using Ethernet or if you are using Ethernet try using WiFi

I've been using the xcloud beta through my internet browser for a few months at first connected with wifi it sucked and was laggy. Then I got an ethernet and it became perfect. Then as of last week it's the same as the wifi connection. Any tips on how to achieve faster speeds
