    Used Code that I bought in store, then game disappeared and had to re-buy online.


    I bought a game, Master Chief Collection, from a store and used the code to download the game to my account. I played it for about a month and then I had to update my console. The game disappeared when I restarted the xbox, and I went to my games and apps
    to redownload it and it said I had to purchase it again. I spent another $40 buying it, and want my money back as I already bought the code and redeemed it, I threw away the code after the game was working.

    Warning! Stop buying xbox one digital games

    Your title should read "warning! Don't be cheap like me and buy 3rd party digital codes" I've bought all 50 of my games digitally from the online store and never have had a problem. If you wanna be cheap buy the physical copy used.

    Unable to download Xbox 360 game on Xbox One (having already been paid for)

    An Xbox 360 game (Left for dead 2) that I used to be able to play on my Xbox One suddenly disappeared from my games library.

    I have tried the ‘store’ and directs me to Xbox.com saying it can’t be downloaded on Xbox One (even though I played before).

    Had a look online but now I must re-pay for the game and all the DLC content I had already.

    Is there anyway I can get the game back with all the content without paying again?

    Did you buy a physical code card where you had to tear off or rub away a cover that covered the code?

    Or did you buy the code online from a store that sent you the code via email?

    If so, you will have to contact the store where you bought the code, and complain that they sent you a redeemed code.

    I very rarely buy on day 1. The only 2 games that I can think of that will be day 1 is Bioshock: Infinite and God of War Ascension. I usually wait a while. Sometimes I wait too long and the games are hard to find new. I re-bought Shadowrun recently. The
    2 different stores I checked haven't had a new copy in years. I wouldn't be able to play it again if it wasn't because of the used market. No, buying online is not an option for me. Brick and mortar.
