Use USB drive to copy content to two Xbox One systems?

Have two Xbox One consoles. Due to Internet data cap, is there any way to use a USB hard drive or flash drive to install a digital game purchase on both systems after downloading it only once?

Don't have a USB hard drive hooked up to either system yet and haven't bothered to experiment with the flash drive. Just curious if anyone knew the answer.

    Thanks!

    :)

I don't think you can copy content to two consoles without downloading it however there is something you can do.

The Xbox One consoles now support external usb hard drives. Simply get yourself a usb drive that is usb 3.0 compatible and a size ranging from 250GB - 16TB (up to two drives at a time) and move your content onto the drive. Then just carry the drive over
to whichever console you want to play on at the time.

As far as i know you can, as mentioned above, use a USB 3 drive with the Xbox One. Im using one (3TB) as my main storage for games. When i moved the games i already had downloaded to the internal HDD onto the external drive, I got the options to either move
    or copy my games.

So i would assume you could copy the games you want onto a HDD, then copy them back onto your other Xbox One.

Can't download update, so won't connect to xbox live.

Try Copy to a USB flash drive

Note: The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system.

    1. Download the update file: www.xbox.com/system-update-usb

    2. Unzip the file.

3.Copy the contents of the .zip file to the root directory of your USB flash drive.

4.Plug the USB flash drive into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console.

    5.Restart the console.

When the console restarts, the installation program starts automatically.

    Transfering DLC

Tried using a USB drive? That will be alot faster that downloading off internet. Copy DLC from old Xbox HDD to USB drive. Copy DLC from USB drive to new Xbox HDD. Make sure you transfer content licenses to new Xbox:

    Transferring content from flash drive

You can't copy media files (or anything else) from a flash drive to the Xbox 360 console.

Instead, you simply insert the flash drive, and play the content directly from the USB drive.

The only thing you can transfer is content you downloaded through the Xbox 360 to the USB drive into it's container file and vice versa.

Stuff that is stored on the "normal" file system of an USB drive (like movies, pictures and MP3 files) can't be copied to the console.
