Use save for 360 game with One game

Hi,

I played The Evil Within on my 360 and then upgraded to the Xbox One and have bought a 2nd hand copy because I’d like to continue where I left off on the Xbox One copy. I assumed that cloud saves would allow me to do this but it doesn’t seem so.

Is there anyway for me to use the save game from the 360 version of he game and use it on the Xbox One version of the game?

For you Xbox One to use your Xbox 360 game save file you must upload the game save to the cloud from from an Xbox 360 console.

You can use just about any USB flash drive with the Xbox 360 and they can store installed game data, game saves, and DLC for basically any Xbox 360 game. Both of these USB flash drives use USB 3.0 and they also are compatible with the USB 2.0 standard that
the Xbox 360 uses. The read/write speed for both flash drives will meet the Xbox 360 recommendations so yes, either one will do.

You will need to get on your old Xbox 360, and manually transfer your TEW save file to the cloud, as it is most likely saved locally to the 360 console's hard drive. Please note that your Xbox profile will need an active Gold subscription to do this.

The Xbox One reads and writes save files over the cloud, especially with Xbox 360 backward compatibility. Once you transfer your 360 save to the cloud, you can pick up where you left off on the Xbox One.

It’s already in the cloud. I checked today.

Just so were clear, this isn’t a backward compatibility issue. The save is obviously from the 360 version of the game. I’m now playing the Xbox One version of the game (not backward compatible 360 version) and would like to continue from where I left off.
Is it even possible?

I do not think what you are trying to do is possible I know some games like GTA5 rockstar will allow you to transfer your online character between consoles one time that includes going from a different console other then xbox 360 to xbox one like going from
ps4 to xbox or pc to xbox but that is done through the publisher side of things and for your online profile do not think there is a way to do what you are trying to do.
