Use of the USA purchased XBOX ONE in India (110V DC to 220V AC issue)

Hello there,

I bought XBOX ONE in the US a few months ago. As I came to India and not planning to go back to US, I brought my XBOX ONE along with me. Now I want to use it in India. But, I realized that in the USA the supply is 110 DC, whereas in India it is 220 AC. So,
I am afraid that something will blow up inside if I connect it directly to Indian supply.

Although I read in few forums that a step-down transformer will help solve my issue, few people are claiming that might void the warranty and create additional problems. So, I did not go for it.

Is there any solution to my situation.

110V to 220V adapter replacement

Hi,

I have recently moved from US to India. I carried my XBox from US to India.

The power adapter that came with the console works on 110V AC, and in India the power supply is 220V AC.

I want to replace my 110V adapter to a 220V one.

Please help.

I had bought xbox one from USA how can I use it in India??

Does I need to buy psu of Indian version or just converter of 220V to 110V power supply?

But, Is there any other alternative like replacing the the power brick or some thing. If there is one, where can I order the genuine XBOX ONE Power brick in India.

The Xbox One S and Xbox One X both support 110v AC and 220v AC as for the original Xbox One with the separate power supply you will need to purchase a replacement power supply. To order a replacement power supply please use the link below and you should

Yeah if you ended up using the power brick that came with the xbox when you bought it in the US and plugged it in while in india you would have fried your xbox one.

The voltage in india is 220v and the voltage the US power bricks use are only 110v.

If you used the US power brick in india this is would NOT be covered under warranty.

Hi, if you want to use your US xbox in Singapore you will need to simply buy an external 220V power supply.

All the xbox one are identical and the only difference is the the external brick for the different countries (the current that goes inside the console is the same, simply the external brick convert it from 220V or 110V depending on the country).

Using directly a 220V power brick is even better than use a 110V power brick with an external converter from 220V to 110V
