Use demo write on dvd not downloaded from xbox live - ban?

if you can write DVD, then download over web latest version, write it to dvd, then put it to your xbox and boot and install it from DVD! Always working!

Hey, but if i find that demo on the internet, can i write it to dvd and play??

And by banned, you mean on Xbox Live correct? But I am still
able to use the console other wise?

Depends on the situation, but typically it means a permanent ban of the gamertag and a ban of the console from Live. Banned consoles cannot be used with normal gamertags or save game files - they corrupt both when
used with the banned console. A corrupted tag is rendered unusable on a legitimate consoles. All progress earned while on a banned console is lost.

betas are also considered demos therefore follows the same rules

betas that require certain dvds like odst or bf work fine cause you need the dvd

but betas you download direct from the marketplace tend to follow the same rules as demos

and its usually upto the individual publisher anyways

The gameplay is fine from the DVD. I did get the demo from the marketplace, and i had no problems with it. It could be that your demo download may have been corrupted somehow. As far as the game, if you like hockey, i think you will like it.
