I keep attempting to purchase a 1 month live subscription for my xbox one, however every time I try I keep getting this message

We couldn't get authorization for this. Try a different or new way to pay. If you have more questions, ask your bank.
I am using a prepaid debit card such as one You might get at the pharmacy or grocery store, but I've used these before on several occasions (I believe). The error code it keeps giving me is PBR9012 - I'd give out the rest of it however I do no know how
much is sensitive information, it seems like others may be experiencing the same issue, could anybody assist me with this?

Very very displeased with the way everything has worked out with my xbox one purchase. Everything has been such as a hassle. from retrieving my gamertag because my old email is no longer valid, to now not being able to buy something from your store because
i live in guam and there is no way to input this on the payment methods. Everyone at microsoft needs to start focusing on the nutz and boltz of these systems and not the cool "face and voice recognition software". What does all that matter if i cant even play
a game on the device i bought to play games on!!!!

this is the kind of issues that makes people migrate to PS4.

 

If there was ever an active subscription on your account, you could get that error if you have a subscription in decline on maybe an old card...?

Otherwise it could be that the billing address on the account doesn't match the billing address tied to the card. Try updating that and see if that fixes the issue.

If neither of those fix the issue, try contacting support so they can look over the billing and see if theres an error that you cant see on your end.
