    USB Support with External Harddrives

So we are all ecstatic that this feature is finally going to be implemented. However do you think it will ever allow USB Media Playback? I have some digital copies of movies that came with the retail versions.

If this is a very unlikely feature to be added does anyone have a cheap suggestion to play my digital copies on my TV without wirelessly streaming? I am considering a WD TV Live because it has a great interface for movies and their information but am open
    to suggestions.

    :)

Xbox One supports any external harddrive, be it portable or desktop as long as it is USB 3.0 .

How easy is it to change a hard drive?(Xbox One)

you dont change the internal hard drive. you just plug in an external harddrive into a usb slot. that's it.

    USB Support with External Harddrives

Legitimate digital copies (UltraViolet, iTunes, Amazon Instant Video) require a specific player. While downloads are possible to tablets and PCs for all three, I'm not aware of any streaming player that supports download to the local device. Even Xbox Video
apparently removed the download option from the Xbox One client (it's in the 360 version).

The only option I'm aware of is a small Home Theater PC hooked to a TV.

Xbox one won't detect any wireless connections

Do you use an external harddrive with USB 3.0? Buy a new cable for the harddrive or don‘t use it.
