    USB power on series x

Hello everyone, my name is Dario and I'm from Italy, i hope anyone can help me.

I received yesterday my Astro Mixamp TR Pro, and i noticed that the series x never shut off the USB ports, leaving the Mixamp always on.

Does anyone knows how to set the usb ports off when the console is turned off?

    Thank you!

    :)

Xbox Series X Seagate 2TB SSD connection weak

There isn't enough power on the bus for the card and the external guessing platter HDD

You need to get a powered USB 3.0 hub, that comes with an external power brick
This was the first time I've had issues with it. I set the system up when I had the original Xbox one around 2015 or 2016 and the USB port layout has stayed the same when I switched to the newer Xbox Series X. The only difference was the switch from a USB 2.0 hub to a 3.0 hub

Since the Xbox Series X has more up to date USB ports, I doubt it would be a lack of distributed power

    USB Port Layout:

x1 - USB 3.0 HDD plugged directly into the port on the Series X

x1- USB 3.0 Hub 4-Port (Not independently powered by a power brick)

    KINNECT

the xbox one s and the xbox one x need an adapter to make it usb and that also comes with its own power supply.

the xbox series s and x don't support kinect.

Using a wireless controller with a wired connection (wireless signal vs. wired signal)

Jesse, can you clarify - if the controller is connected to the console (Series X) via usb cable, is it transmitting the control signal over the wire, or is the USB cable only ever used to supply power, with control always being wireless?

Power or non power usb hub for series x

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

    My name is

Welcome to the community. I hope I can help you in the best way.

Hello Leeparsons70, the ideal would be the Powr USB hub, why the Non power will remove power from the console, of course there is a limit and one should not make cascading, USB Hub connected to another USB Hub.

Sometimes even at the time of the Xbox boot it is very sensitive, and depending on the amount of devices connected to the USB may fail the connection.

I hope this helps, any questions let me know.

    Best regards,

    George C.
