usb port/ power supply?

Discus and support usb port/ power supply? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so i left my house one day for a few hours and when i came back my xbox wouldnt turn on. i tried changing outlets, power cords, and the tv it was on...     usb port/ power supply?


    so i left my house one day for a few hours and when i came back my xbox wouldnt turn on. i tried changing outlets, power cords, and the tv it was on and it still wouldnt turn on. i came to the conclusion that it was the power supply and ordered one immediatly.
    i just replaced the power supply and it still wont turn on, so i checked to see if everything was alright and one of the usb ports on the back is burnt. i had nothing plugged up to my xbox except the power cord and my hdmi cable, but im wondering if the usb
    port being burnt has anything to do with my xbox not turning on.

    Is it a possibility?

    It is a custom shaped USB 3.0 port coupled with a power port.

    "Though the port for the Kinect on Xbox One is proprietary, this is no different from the original Kinect. The port on the 360 slim supplied both power (Kinect’s power requirements are greater than what a standard USB port can supply) and a USB 2.0 connection.

    Its probably isn't plugged in all the way that happened to me a lot before i got the Xbox one x

    If you had warranty from a retailer like gamestop they can replace it and give you a new one or if you bought in a Microsoft store then they can fix it for you

    If something on your xbox looks burnt I would have it checked out soon. If it is under warranty get it fixed for free.

    Hello there sounds like your Xbox needs repaired you can submit a repair with Microsoft or if you already have insurance please contact your insurance company and let them know of the issue so they can fix it
