  1. USB or wireless keyboard / mouse support?

Was wondering if there is or will be USB keyboard / trackpad / mouse support for the XBOX One. Using Internet Explorer is very tedious with the controller. A wireless keyboard with trackpad (wireless USB dongle) would really make it usable.

    :)

  2. Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

So I bought a Logitech MK200 it came with a wireless mouse and keyboard. I put the USB receiver in the Xbox the keyboard worked great, the mouse didn't work at all. I tried many wireless mouses on my Xbox but none worked. How do I fix this problem.

    External wireless keyboard functionality

I purchased a Logitech USB wireless keyboard, model K400, for $30.

With the unifying dongle plugged into the Xbox1 the keyboard works great everywhere you'd want to type instead of typing with the standard game controller.

This keyboard has a mouse-pad (touch-membrane and mouse buttons) similar to that found on most laptops, in place of where the numeric keypad would be.

PLEASE ADD a driver for this keyboard so the mouse-pad will work instead of having to go back to the controller when mouse functions are desired.

It would be awesome if beyond the mouse-pad, other functions or special keys on the keyboard functioned as well.

  4. USB or wireless keyboard / mouse support?

I doubt it since there wasn't this on the 360, well let me rephrase that there were some 3rd party ones but they didn't work that well. This being a next gen system I see them having you use smartglass.

  5. While I haven't tried wireless yet, the console does work with wired USB keyboards. (Not mice) - To have it work, you must start the console with the keyboard plugged in already (from powered off, not on standby). This will allow it to work with your keyboard.
I'll try to test out a wireless keyboard tonight and update this with the result.

    Cheers!

  6. I've confirmed it works with wireless keyboards, so long as you plug in the dongle before the system is turned on. I'm using a Logitech K750-mac usb wireless keyboard. USB or wireless keyboard / mouse support? :) Hope this helps.

    Xbox keyboard and mouse?

I think the specifics of the question aren't about using mouse and keyboard, but rather if you can use a keyboard and mouse that operate via a wireless dongle.

That is, plug dongle into Xbox, then mouse and keyboard comme t to dongle, wirelessly.

I'm not sure that this works, though.

Upon looking at support site, which specifically states WIRED USB keyboard and mouse, so I'm unsure

EDIT: , there may in fact be models supported by console that are wireless, but not just any wireless keyboard will function so check first

    wireless mouse

I have an XBOX ONE and i was just wondering if there was a way to use a wireless mouse with the console . there are times it would be easier to use than the controller. thank you for listening to my question.
In the November Update, keyboard and mouse support is enabled for the games Minecraft, Warframe and Fortnite only.

As for wireless mice: You can't "directly" connect a standard wireless mouse to the console. Most wireless mice come with a small USB dongle, that provides the wireless connection. You can simply plug that USB dongle into the console's USB port(s) (if necessary
use a USB hub), and the wireless mouse can be used in games that support the mouse.

In all other games, the mouse will not work.

Any USB mouse and keyboard will work. Remember not all games support mouse and keyboard.
