    I am very disappointed with Xbox. I just received my Xbox Series S and I am surprised that I cannot connect a speaker wirelessly without having to use my phone through remote play or with a USB cable connected directly to the Xbox and another headphone cable to the Xbox remote control. The truth is that it disappoints me that today they did not add the configuration to the Xbox Series S of being able to connect a speaker directly to the Xbox with a USB cable or wirelessly (Bluetooth) without having to use the Xbox application through the phone. I have a PS4 that I connect the old speaker that I have with a USB cable directly to the PS4 and then only the audio of the game through the speaker and I can't do the same with the Xbox to be honest. For that reason alone I think I'm going to return the Xbox console.

    Hi Keith, There are two ways to connect an Xbox controller to a PC: with a USB cable or via Bluetooth.

    Connect with a USB cable

    Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on your PC.

    Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your Xbox controller.

    The controller should automatically connect to your PC.

    Connect via Bluetooth

    Make sure your Xbox controller and PC have Bluetooth.
    Activate Bluetooth on your PC.

    Press and hold the pairing button on the Xbox controller for 3 seconds.

    The controller should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your PC.

    Select the Xbox controller from the list and click "Connect."

    the Xbox does not even have Bluetooth built into the system, besides you get lots of audio latency via Bluetooth audio which is horrid, and my ps4 never sounded right over Bluetooth.

    most screens you connect the Xbox too have an audio jack and most likely a usb port for power, just attach the speaker to the screen.
