    USB Not Configuring Correctly


    *please note; I have configured my USB in the past to my Xbox* Recently I have grown to like terraria. So today I went to go transfer my character to my Computer then over to another Xbox. (on my friends Xbox) when I went to configure my USB to my computer
    it configured without any issue. The problem was with my Xbox. When I went to plug it into my Xbox it would be named "USB Storage Device" by default and have all of the memory it had on the computer. When I try to put all of my terraria files onto the USB
    it would show up along with 60KB of storage cache. Then why I'd plug it into my computer it just shows a file named "content" with all of my stuff in it. It wont even let me customize the reconfiguring on the Xbox for myUSB for gods sake. Someone please help

    My Xbox 360 will not show my Hard Drive when it is plugged in.

    Formatting it after configuring it to be a usb device will not restore it back to it's original state.

    Newly configured usb not showing up under storage

    I finished configuring a 7GB USB on my xbox 360 console. The process finished with a warning that I may get performance issues because of the USB. After restarting the console no USB is shown under storage. It was visible prior to me configuring the drive.

    Any thoughts? It's a nextech USB, a cheapo but it should still work?

    Since the last dasboard update USB drives no longer have to be customised for 360 use.

    The files are stored in the content folder which is usually hidden.

    As long as both console have latest update no customising will be necessary

    Yes, just delete the Xbox folder withing the USB, it may be hidden though.

    Plug the USB Drive into your computer, go to My Computer, or Computer in the start menu (depending on what Operating system you use)

    Right click on your USB Drive that you have configured for use with your xbox, and click Format.

    That's all you need to do. :)
