I have a usb drive that i used to use for game saves and what not and since have gotten a larger hard drive for my 360. i would like to listen to some new music without having to use wmc because it never wants to pair so usb is my favored choice. when i
put my music on it (mp3) and plug it into my xbox it doesnt show up as a valid source for my system music player. when i have it formatted for the xbox for "storage" it wont actually play the music, it sits idle and never plays. when its not formatted for
storage it doesnt show up. any suggestions on what i can do to get my music working?

    :)

    USB (music)

iphone will never work with any console due to the fact apple doesn't want anyone to access their property

ios locks devices from external access without itunes or offically supported speakers

Hi there, To fix this issue you need to review what type of file you are putting in. If it is incompatible then you can get the dlc to play ipod music (AAC files) on your xbox

    here
. if that doesn't work your xbox will not be able to play that type of music file and you may need to see if you can get it in a different file type compatible with your xbox. Hope this helps Usb music :)
