USB microphone not working?

I have just bought a usb gaming mic from kmart, and it isnt working properly when i have my headset plugged in, which is a razer kraken x. I have tested the usb mic in parties and whenever I unplug the headset, the usb mic works, but the problem is when I plug it back in no matter what I try, the usb mic won't work and it will use the headset mic, which I don't want. Is there anyway i can disable the mic on my headset and have the usb as my main mic?

Not all USB microphones works on Xbox, you may need to search for compatible microphones

If it is, unfortunately, the console only recognizes, primarily, the mic attached to the headset, the console doesn't work properly with USB mic's or even USB headset's for that matter. So, unfortunately, there's no way for you to use that USB mic with your headset connected.

You can't. The Xbox does not support USB microphones, so will not work on it.

Not any Microphone will work with the XBOX 360 via USB. You need to have one that actually works with the XBOX 360 system and doesn't require any sort of drivers to be installed.

I have used the MadKatz Rockband 3 USB Microphone (It works with both the XBOX 360 and the PS3), I also have a Lips microphone which works as well. But as I said, not all wireless microphones will work so your better off getting one that's proven to work. Just
search online in some retailers to see if it works with Rock Band 3 on the XBOX 360.
