usb hub for Xbox One S??

Ive just received my Kinect adapter for my Xbox one S and am short one USB hub. Since the Xbox one s comes with only 3 I was wondering if anyone has used or is using a USB 3.0 hub? If so which one and where you got it from. Tried Xbox hardware support and
to no avail they can't tell me anything that they recommend/support or currently sell. Anybody able to shed some light on this subject for me?

    :)

USB 3 hub expansion for devices

    Hello SandTandpole7943,

There are some USB 3.0 Hubs for the Xbox One. You can use any USB 3.0 Hub that works on a computer for that matter.

An Xbox branded USB 3.0 Hub is the dreamGEAR Xbox One 3.0 USB Hub (although is not an Xbox nor Microsoft product).

If you want an attached-to-the-console 3.0 Hub; you can try the Collective Minds 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure & 3 Front USB 3.0 Ports Media HUB - Xbox One that also lets you put an Internal Hard Drive inside of it.

Both can be bought on Amazon.

usb hub for Xbox One S??

Since Microsoft does not produce their own hub they cannot and will not recommend anything because then they would have to provide support for it. Most companies train there support staff to avoid giving recommendations on third party products.

At any rate, I'm sure you can google for some hubs with decent reviews. Any of them should work as the communications protocol is universal.

Edit: worth noting, that I was unaware the S did not have a native Kinect connection... so thanks for that info since that kind of strengthens my decision to hold off on upgrading. I figure I'll wait to take advantage of the 4K features when the games are
finally playable in that resolution. Oh, and I also would like to see a black version as well.

Yes I agree removing a USB port on the S was a bad idea, the One used to have a USB on the side which was handy but its been removed now.

Let us know which 1 you get as I might be interested in getting one.

The 3rd USB wasn't removed, it was moved to the front panel below the disc slot. USB 3.0 powered hub will work fine. I have used the same one on the 360 and the Xbox One for more than 2 years with no issues. This one from Amazon works great http://tinyurl.com/gpxhqkv
It can be used without the 5 volt adapter but I use it to ensure each port has enough power.

    USB Hub for One S

There's not a lot a difference between hubs in terms of functionality and quality. You just need to make sure the one you're getting is rated for USB 3.0. If you need to draw significant power from a hub, like plugging in a hard drive that's solely powered
through USB (and not with an external power adapter), then you should make sure your hub is powered (it has its own power supply).

Wait... did you say you're connecting 4 Kinect adapters? Like, connecting FOUR Kinects to your Xbox One S? I'm pretty certain that it can only handle one.

USB Hub on a XBOX One S?

I use one from Rock Band (360) on my Xbox one (Day One edition) and it works great. I use it to plug in the usb wireless adapters for Guitar Hero. I would assume that any basic USB hub will work. 3.0 would be the route to go.
