I'm not sure why this is so difficult

    Xbox is Windows 8 based

Almost all PC (Windows) headsets use USB as the primary chat in/out while using optic for audio

    Why is Microsoft so incapable?

Instead of trying to constantly update that craptastic "stereo adapter" that ruins all audio/chat experience, do it the right way and make USB chat possible

Oh, and fix the volume issue when in a party; that is getting INCREDIBLY annoying.

Piece of advise: Nobody, EVER, in the history of ANYTHING could have possibly thought that having the audio run out of the controller could POSSIBLY be a good idea. Are your engineers just plain fool?

    :)

    Using headset in windows

    Hi,

Currently the headset options are not supported so you will need to use a USB or headset directly connected to your PC. This link explains it if you need to check.

  3. about chat headset

Hey, the Xbox One controller is only compatible with the PC if you download the drivers and have the micro USB cable:

I can't find any information on the headset, but I would assume if the controller functions, the headset would also. If you have the required cable, why not give it a shot and report back to us?
