USB Headset Compatibility for XBOX ONE!!!

I have the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma which has cost me quite a lot (£90) and although I am able to use it on the PC, I would also love it if I could use it on my Xbox One. What makes me sad is that the headset works with the PS4! I am also aware of some of
the Turtle Beach headsets which are wireless but require a USB plugged into the Xbox One. If those work, why isn't there compatibility for wired USB headsets? Come on Microsoft, it's these little things which make a big difference! Have a great day everyone

Using headset in windows

Hi,

Currently the headset options are not supported so you will need to use a USB or headset directly connected to your PC. This link explains it if you need to check.

Nope. Unfortunately there is no support for USB headset/microphone with Xbox. Some headsets do have a USB port, but these are Xbox compatible headsets. You will need to ensure you obtain a headset that is compatible with Xbox one. As you can see from the
Razer site, the Razer Kraken is compatible with Xbox: https://support.razer.com/gaming-headsets-and-audio/razer-kraken-xbox-one/ but it
appears the Kraken Ultimate is not compatible.

Usb headsets are not compatible with the xbox one. It uses 3.5 jack.

From my knowledge, USB headsets are not compatible with Xbox One.

The Xbox One does not support USB headsets, you need a headset that can plug in the 3.5 mm jack socket in the controller, or a wireless headset compatible with Xbox One.

The micro-usb port on the controller is not designed for use for headphones.

The Xbox One Controller is designed for using a headset with a 3.5mm jack. There is no general USB support on the Xbox One console for USB headsets.

You'll need to buy a headset that's compatible with the console.
