    Is it possible to move my USB hard drive from my old Xbox One to my new Xbox One and continue playing the game installed on it without having to reinstall the games

    Xbox 1 Raid support?

    You might not be able to raid multiple drives hooked up over USB, but they make hard drive enclosures with Raid that hook up over USB that would work.

    Hey mate,

    I'd say so USB Hard Drive :) From what I know, the games are linked to your profile, so providing you are using the same profile as the one you installed the games, then they should work. I don't beleive that they are linked to the console in anyway, but to your profile

    Error: must have Xbox 360 hard drive to play Destiny

    Its not an issue with the hard drive, its the fact that it is usb. Destiny is looking for a hard drive and the Xbox 360 is not setup to recognize USB Hard Drives as actual hard drive just as USB storage. I would assume Destiny wants a hard drive due to transfer
    speeds, a hard drive would be faster than something on the the USB port on the 360. There are other 360 games that will not load to a USB connected device as well. You could get an older and cheaper hard drive(I assume you have one of the new models with internal
    hard drives because of the price you quoted). I use an old 120GB hard drive with my S model 360. It is not hard to do but I am not sure if I could post how to do that on these forums but it is something to look into.

    Hi, the problem is that you configured the hard drives as xbox USB storage devices, this will have removed information the console needs to distinguish an xbox hard drive from a USB hard drive. In essence this now means you can't use the hard drives as
    xbox hard drives again.

    You can try to use a USB thumb drive to use the console while the internal hard drive is removed.

    If you can I would save any saves you want onto this USB drive first before removing your hard drive till you get a new a hard drive.

    But it does sound like the hard drive is going bad.
