    The offline update for USB only updates the console's operating system. That's why 6GB are sufficient, no matter how long you didn't update.

    The installed games don't matter, as the OS Update doesn't contain game updates. Games are updated separately, and can only be updated online. There is no way to update a game through USB. Only the console's system software.

    I just did some digging and found you a couple articles you may want to look at if you need help updating using a USB. I personally haven't ever done it, but I know a few people who have. I think 8gbs should be enough but, you never know sometimes. It could
    be a formatting issue?

    8GB seems more than enough but it will depend how many updates you are behind.

    Oh yeah right I haven't updated it for 6 months i i think LOL and now i have installed 2k20. This game is 70 GB. so according to this, how many GB do you think i need?
