USB/Flashdrive not loading last save point!

My USB/flashdrive is plugged in and I can see it on the system - memory option, but when i go to play my game it just starts at the very beginning again instead of at my last save point. Any ideas of what's causing this to happen? It's never happened before
and I'm currently 50% of the way through the game.

USB is a SanDisk if that helps at all

corrupt data???

When i configure the Usb flashdrive to xbox am i able to reconfigure it back to Pc later or do i need to keep that game save on the flashdrive?

Slim Hard Drives

lesson learned i guess,you could always use a usb flashdrive in the meantime to save your games.

Sorry to hear it. It sounds like the console can no longer see the drive itself. This happens if the drive is older or starts to fail. If a transfer of files to your console's hard drive (if you have one) does not work then I'm afraid that nothing can
be done to help with this issue. The only thing that would fix the drive is to reformat it on the PC before using it on the console again.

Hi thanks for your answer, I just transferred my saved files to my console hard drive and it worked! The game is now picking up from my last save point! Do you reckon my USB is no longer working?

That's what I figure is happening. You could format the drive on your pc in order to extend it's life a little longer but that will eventually happen again.

Nothing has a yellow icon next to it, but some experimentation has proven that I get the error only when I try and load from flashdrive A, while copying my last save to flashdrive B allows me to play the game. I'll have to fiddle with it later, but I suppose
the problem must be with that drive?
