USB Drive Not Working on PC-After being used for xbox...

I wanted to use a flash drive on my pc that I used on my 360 but the problem came up when I used the "format" option on the 360 to clear the 360 stuff of it. Even after the format on the xbox I did, it just shows up as "(E and I cannot access the usb drive
on my pc, but can still access it on the xbox 360. Does anybody know how to fix this?

DLC to USB to PC and then back to USB

Was the DLC purchased on the account he uses now? It should show in the download history for sure if it was.

As you found out connecting the flash drive to a pc after its been configured for Xbox isnt a good thing.

Did you configure the flash drive for use as an Xbox storage device after you used it on the pc as described in the link above ?

I'm not sure that copying the files back from the pc to the flash drive will even work.

 

USB drive no longer appears under storage devices.

I'm sorry I should have said, I've only had it for almost 2 years. I just can't see it failing that quickly, especially being one of the high end USB drives and the fact that I haven't used it for almost a year.

I have cheap flash drives that I've loaded and unloaded files/games/movies etc, that have been working for 10+ years on my PC.

 

When you see the E: drive (USB drive) you'll need to right click and and choose Format on the PC otherwise it will still be formatted for use with the Xbox.

 

I have tried that, onyxishere. The only message that popped up was the "Windows could not complete format" Thanks for the idea tough.

 

Ok, can you try the steps listed for formatting via disc management as listed in the link below?

In the format utility, select "restore to default".
