    USB Device Not Reading


    I am trying to get my xBox One to read my external hard drive.

    I have one hard drive I store games and apps on - it is 4TB. This hard drive has no problem. It still has 2.6TB free.

    There is still 768.9 GB free of the 780.9 GB on the internal hard drive.

    The second external hard drive is what is causing my problem. It has photos, documents and films on it. This device I use as a back up for my things like my phone and computer. It is 4.5TB and has 0 GB left.

    Is the problem my lack of storage or something else? I would like my xbox to be able to read it so I can view my things on it. Thank you very much for your help.

    USB device not reading at all.

    I have the original xbox 360 and I recently bought an integral 32gb usb stick for about 1 month and another one which is working fine. Yesterday, I turned on my xbox, then I see it only read the second usb key. I switched slots, and it still couldn't read
    my integral usb even though the blue light is turned on. I already have it formatted, and nothing has been wrong with it before. Any solutions?

    Hey there, have you tried some of the troubleshooint steps here:
    support.xbox.com/.../usb-device-troubleshooting

    Also have you tried the USB in another device just to see if it at least registers that you've put it in the device? This would at least show us that the USB is getting recognised, if it's not then I would say it's an issue with the USB.

    On what device is your game saved on USB or Harddrive?

    If USB is the case it could be that ur read rate of the USB device is too slow.

    Is it just reading as a USB Stick? If that is the case you wont be able to make it a 360 hard drive again, it is stuck as a USB device.
