USB Data not working on Xbox. Please help!

Hello, can someone please help me.

So I decided that I wanted to reset my Xbox 360 to factory settings, to complete wipe all of the data on it. So before I did this I put a USB into my Xbox 360 and put all of the data I wanted to keep on the USB. (A few games, profiles ect). Now when all
of the data I wanted was done moving to the USB I unplugged the USB and completely wiped my Xbox 360 to factory settings. I then opened the USB on a computer to see if the data was there, it was there.

Now I don't know if this is why it isn't working but I renamed to Xbox file to "Xbox 360 Stuff" instead of its original name.

I then reset my Xbox 360, went onto storage and it was all gone, like I wanted. So I plugged my USB into the Xbox 360 so I could add all of the stuff I wanted to keep back to the xbox, but for some reason when I opened the USB it says that all of the things
like (Games and Apps, Profiles ect.) have 0 KB in all of them even though I went into my USB and all of the files are still there.

Someone please tell me why this is happening, what did I do wrong? Any reply helps, thank you!

    :)

USB Data not working on Xbox. Please help!

Never mind I've figured out the issue. Turns out I didn't format my USB before hand. It's working fine now.

Xbox one controller stops working randomly

Please try to troubleshoot the issue with these instructions:

Remove the batteries from the controller and for testing purposes, find a Micro USB data cable. Make sure it's a real data cable, as phone charging cables often only have the power lines connected, but no data lines.

Connect the controller via that USB cable directly to the console and check if the controller works.

If the controller works flawlessly with the cable, unplug the USB cable from the console and plug it into a USB power bank or a USB charging plug. Check if your controller still works. If the controller works without problems while being powered via USB,
    then your batteries are faulty.

If the controller fails to work via direct USB connection or being powered through the USB, it might be defective and you need to get it repaired/replaced through

    NBA 2k17 CORRUPTED FILE

Thanks for the help. I have just one more question. My saves will work on a different xbox. Is there anyway to transfer the data from the non-corrupted xbox to the other through usb or something like that?

    Connection problems

Please try and use a Micro USB Data cable and connect your controller to the console via USB cord.

Make sure it's a USB Data cable, as some USB charging cables for smartphones do NOT have the necessary data lines connected. Only power lines for charging the phone.

Remove the batteries from the controller for the following tests!!!

Then test if the controller is fully updated in the Xbox Accessories app.

Check if the controller works for long play sessions without "disconnecting".

If the controller works flawlessly with the USB cable, unplug the cable from the console and plug the USB cable into a USB power bank or USB charging port.

Check if the controller still works wirelessly without disconnecting.

Since you say you already replaced the WiFi board and both controllers disconnect at the same time, it could be that you have wireless interference in your vicinity.

Maybe a neighbor with a wireless baby monitor that gets switched on at that time. Or maybe they have a powerful microwave oven that interferes with your wireless signals.
