USB Cable Doesn’t Work

so i recently built a mechanical keyboard. it was fun and i had a great time building it. i connected to my xbox via USB-C and it worked fine. being new to this mechanical keyboard community i saw many used braided coiled cables. i bought one, its a USB-C as well but it also has an aviator connector. the keyboard lights up but does not respond to any buttons pressed. why is this?

hii! i’m doing well how are you? and yes i tried using a usb cable and the controller still doesn’t work in games

The controller doesn’t work at all unless connected to bluetooth on my phone and i don’t have a usb cable, my controller was up to date and working fine until i started using remote play

Unfortunately If it doesn’t work when connected to your console with a USB cable, your controller needs to be replaced.

It’s the newest Xbox controller.

My old Xbox controller worked via a usb cable but this new one won’t.
