    USB Cable Compatibility with Rocksmith

So I was looking through the backwards compatibility listings for 360 games on the Xbox One and noticed the Rocksmith titles are not being considered for compatibility due to the required hardware. I assume they meant the USB cable required to connect a
guitar to the console. If this is the case, the excuse of hardware compatibility makes no sense. The USB cable required for this game works on all standard USB ports, and the game is available on PC. For example, I have the game on XB360, PS3, and PC and
I can use the one cable between all three platforms.

I would think the game could be easily made to work on the XB1 since it's available on PC and supposedly the XB1 architecture is based more towards PC versus XB360. Just curious if Microsoft is working on making any versus of these games available on the
    XBOX ONE??

    :)

    How can I buy Rocksmith?

Rocksmith is only available as a physical product since it requires a custom USB cable to work. It is not available as a download.

    Rocksmith cable

Yes (the 6.3mm guitar cable to USB). The wireless ones from similar games will not work cross-platform.

"Music is universal, and so is our Real Tone Cable. If you already play Rocksmith on any system, any of your existing Real Tone Cables will work with any other platform, including the forthcoming PS4 and Xbox One editions."

About the cable connection of the elite 2 controller

The controller has an USB Type C to A cable included in the box. The cable is backwards compatible to USB 2.0.

But you can also use your own USB A to C cable if you want.
