    USB C Play and Charge Kit Potential Issue


    Since recieving my Xbox and USB C Play and Charge Kit on the 10th, I've used it twice.

    Right now and a couple days ago.

    Unlike the micro USB one, this doesn't have a light to indicate if it's charge/finished.

    I would like a UI notification to appear on screen once the controller has charging, I don't want to overcharge it.

    how can i charge xbox series x controller without XBOX

    use the plug n play charge kit, plug into any usb port for it to charge, done. i bought the series controller for pc, but couldnt get the usb c charging kit, so i got the original xbox one plug n play and use a spare usb c cable i have, works a charm.

    no xbox required.

    Does the xbox one not have the UI to show the animated battery?

    It's still the same.

    It is annoying they got rid of the charging animation as the charging cable that comes with the USB-C play & charge kit doesn't have a light on it to show when it's charged like the old play & charge kits.

    What is the difference between the Xbox one controller with a usb c included and the regular wireless controller?

    Ones updated model (type c ) with Bluetooth and headphone jack and charges faster

    2nd one uses rf signals and no headphone jack you have to use an adapter

    And charges less faster due to the micro USB limits

    And next gen (higher captain batteries ) play and charge kits only work with USB type c
