USB briefly appears then disappears

Hey everybody,

I've had me USB plugged in for about 2-3 years now with no problems. I haven't used my systems in about 4-6 months, and I just started it up to play some Minecraft, which of course needed a bazillion updates. I only have the 4GB Slim so I was going to put
the update on the USB and transfer the rest of the memory for Minecraft over, but the USB was missing. I went into my System folder, still wasn't showing up. So I restarted. Nothing. I changed ports. Nothing. I have headphones plugged into the ports too and
they work so the ports are fine. I did combos of unplugging the USB and restarting, before after during etc etc. It will show up for about 3 seconds and then disappear again.

Anyone have any ideas I haven't tried? I have some games downloaded on there so I'm reeeeally hoping I won't have to try and reconfigure it and risk losing my games and the save files.

Taptiles problems - we need your help!

1. I am running Windows 8.1 Spring Update on HP 15 Touch Laptop (i5 Intel Processor, 8GB RAM)

2. When I launch Taptiles, the purple splash screen appears briefly, then disappears and brings me to the Desktop

Minor graphical glitch with the titlebar when launching the latest beta

It doesn't affect the functionality of the app in any way, but when you launch the latest beta, this white bar appears briefly at the top of the screen, pushing the regular titlebar down, then it disappears. Here's a GIF that shows what I mean: -

Heya!

Do you have a friend or family member with the same console to test that USB device on? This would help ensure that the console is the issue on the device.

Did the console itself have any updates when you powered it back on?

You might try reformatting the drive as discussed on the
Xbox 360 storage page. This would ensure that the drive is current with the console needs. Keep in mind this will clear the drive of any stored data and we would suggest doing this after you have tested the drive on another console.

Unfortunatly I don’t have anyone close by with a 360.

I think I did have to do an update.

I’ll see if I can get ahold of someone with a 360.

1. I am running Windows 8.1 on a HP Pavilion 11 Touch Laptop

2. When I launch Taptiles, the purple splash screen appears briefly, then disappears and brings me to the Desktop. The 'circle' that usually would appear to indicate that it was loading and logging into the XBox site NEVER appears.

3. There is NO ERROR CODE!

This is since I did a Taptiles App update last week (June 2015).
