USB Bluetooth dongle support on Xbox One S?

Does the Xbox One S support a USB BT dongle? I'd like to use a BT keyboard on my XB1s but realize there is no built in bluetooth support.

Anyone know for sure if this can work?

Can I use a BlueTooth keyboard with my XBox One?

There is not a bluetooth receiver on the xbox and I doubt it would utilize a USB bluetooth dongle

Bluetooth won't allow for wireless headsets like you think. I have a PS4 which has bluetooth and my wireless headset for it requires the USB dongle with it and a cable that goes from the USB dongle to the optical out port on it. (turtle beach 500p) I have
a wireless one for my X1 as well (afterglow AG9) and it just has the USB dongle.

The Xbox One and Xbox One S do not support Bluetooth in any way, and it does not contain any built-in drivers to interface with a Bluetooth dongle.

If you want to use an external keyboard, you can use:

- The keyboard chat-accessory that attaches to the controller.

- Your smartphone with the Xbox app (keyboard pops up when you are ready to enter text on Xbox).

- Standard USB keyboard.

- Wireless keyboard with its own included USB dongle (non-BT)

There's in fact a Bluetooth 4.0 module built-in, which by the Xbox One/Ss design is in a disable state. So, as the previous sayer said; there's currently no support for Bluetooth.

It's interesting you say that. The next morning, I took a look at a hardware teardown of the console, and I realized that there was in fact a bluetooth module inside after all! I was here thinking that it was never inside to begin with... but, it is indeed
disabled, so Microsoft isn't planning on using it... yet?

Anyway, I digress. As it currently stands, no form of bluetooth connectivity is supported on the Xbox One S console, let alone driving a third-party BT dongle.

You would have to use a USB dongle, Xbox does not support Bluetooth

Are you using 3rd party Bluetooth receiver on PC or the official Microsoft Xbox One controller dongle for Windows 10?

To rule out issues with Xbox Elite 2 controller I would connect it to phone and try to play something (any free game would do with controller support), both Android and iPhones now support Xbox One controllers as input methods. If there is no issues on phone
then it's 100% faulty Bluetooth receiver on your PC. If the issues also present when playing on phone, then you have faulty controller.

If the issue is with controller itself or Microsoft USB dongle you need to contact Xbox Support at https://support.xbox.com/

If the issue is not with a controller itself and you are not using official Microsoft USB dongle, I would look into getting one or replacing your Bluetooth receiver with a better one with Bluetooth 4.0 support or higher.
