USB Audio Through Controller?

Hi,

my xbox has had audio issues over wireless where there is intermittent static. Bought a Razer Wolverine because id hope this would solve the issue. But ive been told that connected xbox controller by usb receive audio through the USB.

Currently have my controller connected through usb but i believe I am still receiving audio through wifi as it is still choppy. Maybe I am using the wrong cable? Help please cause i bought an Elite controller and will cancel preorder if this isn’t true!

I sometimes have that problem. What I usually do is to turn off my controller and turning it on again, I hope this can help you solve the problem

I have the same problem sometimes, what I do is turn my controller and headset off for 10 secs or so and then turn them on again. My headset is Razer too, but I my controller is a Standard black Xbox one controller. Anyways, you could try that and see
if that works.

yes use any headphones, any audio from the xbox will play through them including films and music from usb and network shares. the audio controls are software based on the xbox, if you ever need hard button controls then just get the stereo adapter.

it likes a direct connection to a port on its own, this benefits the latency for controller input, plus it supports upto 7 controllers all with audio passthough i believe, having it through a usb hub would reduce the available bandwidth.

for audio to work with a xbox controller on pc it has to be wired, the controller does not support audio over bluetooth. thats why i purchased a usb headset as its a pain.
