Usb and gaming issue

USB device brand/size: SATA/IDE COMBO ENCLOSURE 2.0 16 GB Error message and/or code. It says game error the disk is unreadable What are you trying to do? I am trying to play a 3.8 gb game I downloaded onto my 16 gb portable hard drive. What is going wrong?
After playing the game for a few minutes an error message pops up saying the game is unreadable, but it's downloaded on my hard drive wiphich is a faty32 and I've already deleted it and downloaded it again what should I do to keep this from happening so I
can enjoy my games?

USB issue

Hi guys,

I use a usb flash drive on my 360 to save all my games progresses and to install games such as CoD and Gta V.

When I first used the usb I only set 50% of the available memory on it (32gb in total) for xbox storage.

When I came to install CoD A.W I had insufficient space on the usb. I therefore transferred all files from the usb on to my laptop and formatted the usb, resetting the available memory to 100% of it's capacity.

However, when I came to put the files back onto the usb (the files are in partition form) and place it back into the 360. It would no longer recognise the usb and formatted it once again erasing my saved game info I had just put back on.

I still have the original files on my laptop. Does anyone have any idea how I can get them back onto my usb or onto my internal xbox memory?

USB Flashdrive and installed games issue

I believe that you need to have a hard drive for game installation as the speed of USB 2.0 (which the Xbox uses) is too slow to run games directly off.

 

You're using a drive enclosure and only have a 16 gig HDD in there? How odd...

It could still be corrupted data during download, it could be bad sectors on the HDD, it could be poor I/O speed (with IDE that's a definite). I'm sure it could be other things to..

 

What do you suggest I try first? I'm not the best at this stuff I'm just tired of it doing this, it's been about a year.

 

Format it on the PC then re-configure it for use on the console.
