    So I'm not sure if this topic is meant for this section or not but i decide to ask anyways. I want to know if i were to run of xbox gold for xbox live on my xbox one, could i use the xbox app to at least talk with people on my friends list and make/join
    parties?

    Internet Usage With Xbox Live

    Hey there guys.

    So recently we got a new router and switched from TalkTalk to BT because TalkTalk kept disconnecting. So all was well however and BT is faster and almost never disconnects. Then all of a sudden my mum get's an email saying that we have gone over the 10GB usage
    limit. My mum was unaware of this usage limit and our family haven't gone over the limits for our old providers either. So she had to change the code but we have to pay £5 extra for every 1GB we go over so she has not allowed me to use the code for my Xbox.
    I'm just wondering how much usage playing games like Halo or Call of Duty or just Xbox Live in general take up?

    ^^ That's wrong. If you run out of gold you can't talk in parties no matter if you're on your Xbox or on the Xbox app.
